Champion galloper Bold Bard and Reece "Becky" Wheeler overcoming an outstanding field, and a torrid run in transit, to win the prestigious Bagot Handicap for the 2nd time in succession, New Years Day 2003. With the first 3 legs of the quaddie home, and the field in the last, for 50c (or for those who are too young, 50%), it was a tremendous start to the year.
